The paraphrase of the profit share principles to majority e-commerce happened almost four years after the World Wide Web (W.W.W) was born in November 1994 when CDNow.com was borned.CDNow.com was a music oriented web site. Affiliate marketing was used on the Internet by the adult industry before the CDNow.com launched. Amazon.com launched it’s relate program in July 1996. In February 2000, Amazon.com announced that it had been decided a patent on all the necessary components of an affiliate program.
